Overview

The Popups & Email Capture module lets you create targeted popups to grow your email list, promote sales, and communicate with visitors.

Creating a Popup

  1. Go to Popups > Create New
  2. Choose a template or start from scratch
  3. Configure content, design, and trigger rules
  4. Preview on desktop and mobile
  5. Publish

Popup Types

  • Email capture: Collect email addresses with an optional discount incentive
  • Announcement: Promote a sale, new product, or important update
  • Discount code: Display a code with a copy button
  • Age verification: Required gate for restricted products

Trigger Rules

Control when and where popups appear:

  • Time delay: Show after X seconds on the page
  • Scroll depth: Show after scrolling X% of the page
  • Exit intent: Show when the cursor moves toward the browser close button (desktop)
  • Page-specific: Only show on certain pages or collections
  • New vs returning: Target first-time visitors differently from returning customers

Frequency Capping

Prevent popup fatigue by setting display limits:

  • Show once per session
  • Show once per day / week / month
  • Stop showing after the visitor has submitted the form

Email Integrations

Connect your popup forms to your email marketing platform:

  • Klaviyo
  • Mailchimp
  • Omnisend
  • Any platform via webhook

Go to Popups > Settings > Integrations to connect your account.

Every popup element is customizable:

  • Colors, fonts, and border radius
  • Background image or gradient
  • Form field layout
  • Button text and style
  • Close button position and style
  • Mobile-specific adjustments
